How four color process printing works.

Four-Color Process screen printing- a method of printing using four colors (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) to produce full-color images that appear to contain thousands of colors.

C - Cyan
M - Magenta
Y - Yellow
K - Black
Cyan
Magenta
Yellow
Black
The inks dots position, size and relation to each other determine which color your eyes will perceive.

To print a these directional real estate signs in four-color process, we use computer software to separate the .TIFF image into four colors - cyan, magenta, yellow and black.

This type of printing requires precise registration and extensive screen setup. This job in particular because theses signs contain directional arrows. This requires me to burn 8 screens for this job.

Then we make a screen for each color (see images below).
